General Terms and Conditions of Business for Clinica Alpina Ramosch Pet Hotel

1. General:
Our Terms and Conditions are binding. The invalidity of individual provisions does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. By signing the boarding contract for the purpose of placing your animal in our care, you accept our Terms and Conditions. Should concerns arise regarding an animal's stay at the pet hotel (e.g., due to obvious social incompatibility, contagious diseases, etc.), we reserve the right to refuse the animal.
2. Health/Condition of the Animal:
The pet owner is obligated to adhere to the following rules: All animals must be microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and healthy. Upon registration, the pet owner undertakes to inform the pet hotel staff of any illnesses, behavioral issues, aggression, anxiety, heat cycles, or food intolerances. For the protection of your animal, as well as staff and other animals, your pet must be vaccinated at least ten (10) days before entry. The primary immunization must have been correctly completed. Should extreme behavioral issues arise during the stay, the pet hotel reserves the right to return the animal to the pet owner. If this is not possible due to the owner's absence, the animal may be removed from the group and placed in individual care. Any additional costs incurred will be charged to the pet owner.
3. Animals with Special Care Needs and Veterinary Services During the Stay:
The pet hotel has an affiliated veterinary practice with appropriately trained staff. Therefore, it is possible to accommodate animals that require increased care. There is also the option to use veterinary services such as dental treatments, blood tests, or similar during the stay. Requests regarding care and services should be discussed with the pet hotel in advance.
4. Accidents and Illness During the Stay:
An emergency contact address must always be provided. For any illnesses or injuries that occur during the stay, all costs are borne by the pet owner. Furthermore, the pet hotel accepts no liability for animals that escape. If the animal dies of old age or for unforeseeable reasons, all liability is rejected. If nothing has been agreed in writing before the stay and the owner cannot be reached, the pet hotel is authorized to have the veterinarian carry out all appropriate medical measures. In extreme cases, this includes euthanasia if the animal is suffering incurably and the owner cannot be reached despite multiple attempts (cost assumption as above). In general, the pet hotel always acts in the best interest of the animal.
5. Pet Food:
For special dietary needs, the pet owner must inform the pet hotel in advance. A special diet can only be guaranteed with individual accommodation in a private room. The pet owner must bring sufficient special food for the duration of the stay. The food should be labeled with the animal's name, owner's name, and daily portion information.
6. Medication:
If the animal requires medication or a special food composition, this information must be clearly visible and legible as a note attached to the food bag. Medications must be clearly labeled with the animal's name and dosage instructions. Additionally, this must be mentioned/discussed upon check-in.
7. Pick-up and Delivery Service:
The pet hotel offers a paid pick-up and delivery service for dogs in certain regions, which can be booked at registration. Animals are transported in individual crates appropriate for their welfare. Transport days count as entry or exit days and are included in the calculation of stay duration.
8. Registration/Confirmation:
Registration is made via the registration form and becomes binding upon written confirmation from the pet hotel.
9. Check-in and Check-out Times:
Animals can only check in or out after prior registration. Please inform the staff immediately of any changes. Check-in and check-out times are as follows: Monday–Friday: 08:15–11:30 and 13:15–17:30 Saturday: 08:15–11:30 No animals can check in or out before 8:15 or after 17:30.
10. Calculation of Stay:
Entry and exit days are included in the calculation of stay duration. If the stay needs to be extended, this must be reported at least two (2) days before the scheduled pick-up date. If the animal is not picked up at the agreed time, an additional 10 CHF per day will be charged on top of the daily rate. If the animal is not picked up after two months without consultation, it becomes the property of the pet hotel and will be placed in a suitable home or animal shelter. There is no price reduction for early pick-up.
11. Payment:
The full amount for the stay, including any additional costs incurred, is payable upon pick-up in cash, by card, or via TWINT.
12. Cancellation:
The following conditions apply for cancellations of holiday boarding (3 days or more): Cancellation 18 to 14 days in advance: 50% of the boarding costs will be charged. 13 to 0 days before the agreed date: 100% of the boarding costs will be charged. For early pick-up, the full boarding stay will be charged. The following conditions apply for cancellations of day care: Cancellation less than 48 hours in advance: 100% of the stay will be charged. In special cases (e.g., illness of the animal), the stay will be cancelled free of charge.
13. Insurance/Disclaimer:
The stay at the pet hotel, as well as the use of the pick-up and delivery service, is fundamentally at your own risk and responsibility. Accident and liability insurance is the responsibility of the pet owner. The pet owner is liable for all damage caused by their animal. The pet hotel accepts no liability for personal items brought along, such as blankets or toys, etc.
14. Intellectual Property/Image and Film Rights:
All documents and materials provided or made available by the pet hotel are protected by copyright and are for personal use only. This also applies to the content and images on our website. Any reproduction or distribution is only permitted with the express written consent of Clinica Alpina SA. Images taken at the pet hotel may be published by us.
15. Price Change Reservation:
We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The applicable price is the price at the time of final registration. Already confirmed registrations are not affected by subsequent price changes.
